A monumental one-of-a-kind Ganesha temple carving created from richly colored natural thulite. Saturated rose-red, burgundy and pink tones flow through the stone alongside cream and dark mineral patterning, giving every surface distinctive natural character.

Standing approximately 11 inches tall and weighing nearly 3 kilograms, this is a substantial collector piece. Ganesha sits beneath an elaborately carved architectural canopy with multiple arms, a sweeping trunk, a raised blessing hand and finely rendered ceremonial details.

The artistry continues across the reverse, where a large peacock is surrounded by layered feathers, leaves and flowing botanical forms. This fully carved back makes the piece compelling from every angle.

About Thulite

Thulite is the pink-to-red variety of zoisite, with its characteristic coloration associated with manganese. Its combination of saturated color and contrasting natural mineral patterns makes it especially expressive when used for detailed sculptural work.

Every variation visible in this carving—including its cream-colored passages, darker areas and shifting shades of red—is part of the stone’s natural composition and individual character.

Symbolism and Artistry

Ganesha is traditionally honored as a symbol of wisdom, discernment, auspicious beginnings and the removal of obstacles. His raised hand conveys blessing and reassurance, while the surrounding canopy gives the carving the presence of a miniature temple.

The peacock on the reverse is traditionally associated in South Asian art with beauty, dignity and renewal. Its deeply carved feathers and surrounding foliage transform the back of the statue into a second complete work of art.

In contemporary crystal traditions, thulite is associated with vitality, compassion, confidence and heart-centered reflection. These associations complement Ganesha’s enduring symbolism of approaching change with wisdom and courage.

Metaphysical properties reflect spiritual traditions and personal practices; individual experiences may vary.
