Green Heulandite

Green Heulandite forms in the same volcanic cavities as classic peach Heulandite, but its rare green tone comes from trace mineral inclusions—often microscopic amounts of celadonite or chlorite—infusing the zeolite layers with a soft, moss‑green glow. These specimens from Sangamner, India grow in delicate, fan‑like blades within basalt pockets, their hexagonal structure creating the signature layered, petal‑like formations that look like mineralized leaves or pages of stone. The green coloration is uncommon, making these pieces especially prized among zeolite collectors.
