• Amber was prized in the Neolithic era, Bronze Age, and Roman Empire
These puffy amber hearts are carved from ancient fossilized tree resin formed between 30 and 90 million years ago, during the Eocene period. Each heart shows natural internal banding, organic inclusions, and warm golden tones that deepen when held to the light. Under UV illumination, they glow with a strong blue‑green fluorescence, a hallmark of Baltic amber, making it highly likely these pieces originate from the Baltic region (Poland or Lithuania) — the world’s most famous source of UV‑reactive amber.
Amber has been treasured for thousands of years. It was used in Neolithic amulets, traded along the Bronze Age Amber Road, and adored by the Romans, who believed it held sunlight trapped inside. These hearts are polished into a smooth, rounded puffy‑heart shape, giving them a comforting weight and a soft, luminous presence.
In the Lifted Realm, amber is the keeper of ancient light — resin that once flowed from primordial forests and now carries the memory of sun, tree, and time. Its UV glow reveals the hidden fire within, a reminder that even the oldest things still shine. Amber corresponds to warmth, protection, and ancestral memory, offering a steady, golden life‑force that soothes the heart and strengthens the spirit. These puffy hearts radiate comfort and vitality, holding the soft glow of ancient sunlight in a form made to be held close.
